When you are able to go to the throat of the world (The VERY top of the biggest mountain, a little bit into the main story) after doing what your required to do up there head up to the very top rock formation by jumping about and you will find a pick axe stuck in a rock near an ebony vein. This is no ordinary pick axe because its a weapon that does 10 damage and has some enchantments that I cant remember I think frost damage?

every pickaxe can be used as a weapon and cause damage.

Hmmm... too bad for me I guess. I thought it was pretty cool looking there so I left it. lol
