What I really don't get is why the race limitations when the split they have could just as easily have been done based on ideology instead without limiting players. I mean really, the existing factions and their motivations are tailor-made for a non-racial ideological split; Progressives, Traditionalists, Seperatists. Nobody should have to choose between creating the character they want to create and being able to play with their friends/guildies, and nobody should have their character's views and motivations decided the moment they choose their race.
Am I missing some amazing advantage to the proposed system that outweighs the evident negatives?
