I accidentally sold the coral dragon claw without realizing it. So when I entered Yngol Barrow, I found myself in a pickle. I've checked every general merchant that I've visited so far in Skyrim, even the Khajiits. None of them have the claw, and no claw spawned in Yngol Barrow. Am I screwed?

The item will remain in the inventory of the person you sold it to.

Where did you get the claw you had? Was it from the merchant in Winterhold, or from the barrow itself? In my game I have 2 Coral claws because I picked up the one in the barrow first, and then I got the one from chatting to the merchant.

It's the one I bought off Birna. No claw spawned in the barrow.

Thats a downer. If youve checked every merchant and have no save point to revert back to, youre probably screwed.

You will need to go to every vendor and try to purchase it back then. If it had been the one from the pedestal you could have just bought the one in Winterhold.

The Coral Dragon Claw (the Yngol Barrow key) appears nowhere but in Birna's dialog. There IS no pedestal for it to be on. SuperSnacks, you will have to visit every vendor in every place you've been until you find it. It's not going to disappear (unless consoles are "that" different from pcs) but it could take you a while to track it down. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!
