i'm in riverrun, and i've got tons of stolen crap, the question is, who will buy it? where's the fence?

Check with the Thieves' Guild. Or level your Speech and take some perks. Don't have more advice.

i got there, and i'm doing some quests, still haven't found one. i figured someone who's had the game for awhile would be able to tell us.

Wondering this myself and most pps keep saying there are fences wihtin the thieves guild..

Join the Thieves Guild, finish the 2nd quest and you're officially in the the Guild and have access to the first fence. Alternatively, gain the top perk in Speechcraft tree to sell stolen goods to any vendor.

Where is the thieves guild?
Can i be a member of multiple guilds? (want to do mage guild as my primary, but really need to fence some crap).
Does the fence you gain access to after the second quest have a decent amount of gold, or is it something lame like 40'ish?
Are there any fences besides wasting points/money on speechcraft or joining the thieves guild?

The Thieves Guild begins in Riften.
Yes, you can be a member of multiple Guilds.
The first fence has over 1000 gold for buying.
No, fences only in Thieves Guild or Speechcraft.
