Sequal and DLC ideas

Dishonored has turned out to be the game i was hoping it to be. My only major dissapointment is that the game is kinda short. It does have a high replay value, but i still want to experience all new missions. Because of this, i am already thinking about what the sequal and DLCs should be like. Here are my thoughts.

New Powers...
Every great sequal introduces new moves for the player. In the gadgets department, i would add and EMP device that could disable security devices. For the supurnatural powers, i would add a 'hypnotise' spell, which would be like an AoE version of the sleeper darts (it should use a lot of mana, obviously).

Waking Enemies...
To reballence the game, and add a new challenge, enemies can wake an ally whom you have knocked out. If they see a sleeping ally, they will run over to them, and revive them with smelling salts, or simply shake them awake. The woken enemy will then enter the alerted state.

Staging a 'nap'...
You can however counter the waking enemies by staging a nap. Rather than leaving a KOed enemy on the floor, place them in the nearest chair, bed, or sofa. If an ally of their sees them in this state, they will simply belive they are napping on the job, and will wake them in a calmer way. When woken the emeny will dismiss their encounter with you as a dream, and will not raise any alarms.

What are your thoughts?

My thoughts?
Take it easy and enjoy Dishonored, don't go about thinking about sequels and DLC's already, it's too early honestly.
And if you think the game is "short", you've simply pushed through it too fast and made it all in a rush.
The game should easily take 12hours and up to 20+. Go at it again, explore, try sidequests and meet some of the NPC's you never met.
It has alot to offer in itself!

And I think that whole "waking the enemy" would feel like a slap in the face, I just took a minute to follow a guy in the shadows to knock him out,
and when I finally get the perfect opportunity and knock him out, a minute later he gets woken up by another guard.
That feels I did something that resulted in absolute nothing and therefore wasted my time.
Also that would seriously make it harder to make a low chaos playthrough!

And to the AoE Sleep power, although it would use alot of mana, it just seems.. useless in a way. The only time you would use it, is if you could clog up 2-4 guards running after you,
and you get off a good shot of it. It will by standards be hard to find a group of guards to use it on, just standing there.

Well that's my two cents ;)

Good ideas all together though, atleast I can also say you had some which is always good!

Exactly! This frustrating possible event is what's used to incentivize the player into taking the time to find a good place to hide a KOed enemy, rather than just lazily droping them anywhere.

Too short?

I'm playing it and I tell you, if you really explore the missions, the game will easily take 30 hours or more. Not to mention the replay value.

You people are right. It was unfair of me to say that this game is too short, when the only sidequests i did where the Bottle Street Gang sidequests. I'll make sure to do all the sidequests next time i playthrough Dishonored.

Dont forget try to get all the bone charms and runes in every mission.

If you do it, you will come here complaining this game is too long! lol
