Serana and strange follower actions?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 5:44 pm

I was on my way to get the Gargoyle Amulet from Bilegulch mine and came across the bleeding Valdr, while I was talking to him Serana laydown in a half-fetal position at his feet with her hands shaking.

I don't normally have followers in my games, so has anyone else had any weired behaviour like this from other NPC's?

I was outside the Dawnstar sanctuary during that quest where you chase after Cicero, and she sat down behind Anjborn and started copying him, same position, clutching her side. It was awesome.

... I took Serana to the Abandoned House in Markarth.... Just to see... Went to the Malog Bal alter, and she cowered on it, covering her face in a protective move. Mean I guess from an RP stance, but I wanted to see if she would have any unusual reactions... She got over it soon as I left...

I went back to Moss Mother cavern to see if she would do the same thing again, she wouldn't but she did assume the same position as Anjborn. It must be in her script that she can assume the actions or positions available to NPC's in that position.

I went to do the Innocence Lost (Aventus Arentino) quest and she started performing the black sacrament. I wonder who she wanted killed.

I went back to my Honeyside home in Riften and she made herself right at home, sitting in chairs and stirring the soup. She seems to interact with her environment more than other followers.

Take a guess, Dovakiin.

This thread made me laugh. Lately is sounds like Serena has been a saving grace for the DLC or a major annoyance. Should be fun to find out.

Serana put her back against my characters body and tilted her head to look back into his eyes..........I guess she wanted some "companionship".

Too bad, she's a di#$ tease :swear: All the comments, little flirty actions throughout the quest line, and there's no option to marry

edit : I'm not by passing the censor in case a moderator is thinking that, I had to do it for the censor

You lucky bastard, but I don't believe you, did she actually do that or are you just messing with us?

I broke in to Maven Blackbriar's house in Rifton and found the family sitting at the table eating. Before I knew it Serana sat down and started eating with them. She is a trip.

I was doing the quest and she did the same thing. It's awesome that one of her random actions makes sense.

Another note is that it was my VL playthrough. But she also did it on one of my dawnguard playthroughs and I had turned into a VL by her hand but it didn't happen till late in the vale and i its when I stand still for a little while. (About three minutes)

So if you stand still she leans against you with her back to you looking into your eyes. To me that looks awkward though, do you have a picture?

I was outside of Moss Mother Cavern talking to Valdr about what happened to his friends when Serana lay down in the half-fetal position that Mindboggles described, and said "It's too bright out here... don't know how you can stand it." & while searching for the Moth Priest in Dragonbridge she helpfully took over the sweeping while I questioned a witness.

If you have your character idle after the loading screen when you enter a new area, that will increase the chance she'll lean back & look at you over her shoulder. If you're in a tavern & you request a song from a bard, she'll join the crowd & start pounding ales with them!

Question: sometimes when we're in the wilderness & are attacked by wolves or sabrecats, she will raise a fox from the dead to assist us, which is good for a laugh, but has anyone seen her raise a bunny from the dead when you're under attack?
