Post » Sat Aug 11, 2012 7:23 am

i just got the game and i also got dawnguard, i beat dawnguard then asked serana to be a human i did some quests and then went and got her at fort dawnguard to follow me, but during a main quest mission where i had to face alduin for the first time and serana just dissapeared. I tried to fast travel and wait three days and look at fort dawnguard and even went to her mothers, and the vampire castle and i cant find her! i just want a new follower but i cant do that if serana is still technically my follower.

I found this on the skyrim wikia:

Once the Dawnguard questline is complete, she can be asked about curing her Vampirism. Should she agree, she will leave to see http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Falion for a cure. She will return to Fort Dawnguard after a few days, cured, however will still exhibit certain traits of her previous vampirism:

Hopefully this helps.

You can find Falion in Morthal. Head over to his house and see if he's home. If not, just wait a couple hours until you're able to enter his house.

thanks hope she is there, and if not i hope they have a patch like in fallout 3 that lets you disban your follower without them being there

If you leave her standing around for a few days, you should get a message saying she got tired of waiting and left.

Edit: It can take followers up to 5 days to travel home.

You may want to try checking back at Fort Dawnguard in a few days as well.

Good luck and I hope you find her.
