Alright, so I am grabbing all the buckets of water, and I came upon an awesome looking background, so I asked Serana to wait at a specific part so she wont be in the shot, I took the picture, yada yada yada, and she would not follow me anymore.

I can't even get the dialogue option "follow me" or "wait here". She thinks she is following me but she is not. So I just brushed it off and collected all the buckts of water myself, thinking she would join eventually. I collected all of them, but she still is in the same spot where I left her.

Now, I can hold W on her and that will make her follow me, yes, but I obviously cant do that. I cant tell her to enter buildings and portals or what not. So...if I continue with the quest would the game force her to be at a part after I enter the main part? PLEASE, NO SPOILERS. I just want to know if there is a fix, or should I just progress in the quest so that she will be forced at a certain point to meet up with me.

By the way, I beat her up, FUS RO DAH'd her, ect ect.

The same thing happened to me on Xbox. I gave up attempting to make her follow me. Eventually, she rejoined me and all was well. I hope the same goes for you.

This is happening to just about everyone, I think.

Advancing the quest seems to work. Also waiting for a few days will cause her to rejoin you (or leave for the faction base, not sure).

You're best bet is maybe to just keep going and she'll catch up. Just don't ask her to wait or dismiss her before a patch is released.
