Serana svcks....

Post » Wed Nov 21, 2012 1:36 am

Here's the story...

I do the vampire thing to go to the Soulcairn, then get cured afterwards...I then wander around with Serana in tow doing various quests and just enjoying things.

Halfway through one of the DG mainquests, I get a message saying "You get a strange thirst when the sun goes down..."

Mmmm...check 'active effects', and sure enough, whateveritisis vampiris....

Now, the only person I've been around for any length of time is Serana...no one else. The only npc I know of which is a vamp, is Serana, and I'm the sort of dude that casts detect dead around people so I can sort out who's who in the zoo.

Dear sweet little Serana seems to have some extracurricular nightly activities, apparently....I'll be checking my pockets and inventory next.

If you got the PC version...
1. Load Dawnguard in the CK
2. Find Serana's base ID form.
3. Uncheck the Essential flag.
4. ????
5. PROFIT!

If you don't have the game on PC, you're SOL.

Hmm.. well if you hear Serana explain it turning some one is a very ... intimate and personal experience.. atleast for her. Who knows, if you get her to cure herself you might wake up with the Lover's Comfort messege after resting lmao

She`s done it to me a couple of times now, it`s the health drain spell she uses. If you walk into it by mistake or she hits you with it you still have a chance of contracting vampirism just like when the hostile NPC vampires hits you with it, only advice I can give is to carry a butt load of cure disease potions on your person at all times or ditch Serana ( which by the way is next to impossible to do through the entire quest line, she only refuses to leave and will follow you around anyway. )

Hmm, if that's Lore than Isran and the other members of Fort Dawnguard must have had quite the experience when I turned the lot of them into vampires
