Excellent thread. I was wondering the same thing. I do have other related questions if that's cool:
1. I use the mod that does the post process to make everything sharper and more vibrant (forget the name). Will this interfere?
2. Is this easy to uninstall if my performance takes a hit?
3. Is this mod done? As in are all the textures upgraded?
4. Does this impact armors or weapons or just environment? Pretty sure just environment, just curious.
Thanks.
1. Not having that other mod I can't answer.
2. Yes, it is easy to uninstall provided you make the following manual preparation and replacement:
[Step A] Make a backup copy of Skyrim's "Textures" folder
before installing the Skyrim HD.
[Step B] To install the Skryim HD simply drop the Skyrim HD Texture folder on top of the game's Data folder. Follow all the Windows prompts to permit you to replace preexisting files with your new ones.
[Step C] Should you wish to "uninstall" the Skryim HD simply delete the entire newly created texture folder that you placed in the Data folder [Step B] and replace it with your saved Texture folder [Step A]
