Seriously, how do I download the patch? ?_?

Yo. So I got a PS3. Eagerly awaited the patch and I live in Europe so it should have been out for like two days already.

It is connected to the internet at all times, and I've got automatic update activated on my PS3.
But as I recall all game patches on consoles, there's usually a window that pops up and says: "YO, you have an update here", right?

This hasn't happened for me... and I've no idea where (if possible) to find it manually.
When I started the game first time after patch came out I walked out of the room, but it couldn't have happened by itself could it?
I mean there's usually a "Press X to start download" right?

Because I still get heavy, unplayable lag when I've been playing for a couple of hours straight... so I have to reboot the PS3.
Although I'm now getting the dragon flying backwards bug... I haven't had that before... but perhaps irrelevant?

edit: is there any way to check on my PS3 what version of the game I have? The latest is 1.2 right?

VERY thankful for any tips and suggestions. I want that update too, god d a m n it!

Try going into the game data section on the PS3, finding the Skyrim update data, clicking on triangle, and going to information. It might say what update version is installed. I'd check but I deleted my update data so I'd have to reinstall the data, which I can't do because I'm replaying Oblivion since I can't play Skyrim.

The 1.2 Patch is not worth the update in all honesty for a fellow PS3 user it causes more crashing and freezing then the 1.1 making the game unplayable at times.
To check what version you have to go to Game, then to the Game Data Utility folder. Inside the folder should be a Skyrim Update, Press Triangle then Information and it will tell you what version you have.

If you've got automatic updates on, it's probably already updated, but it's easy enough to check. Just hit the pause button in game and I believe it has the version number in the bottom left.

Heh, I think you're right. I completely forgot about that!

Thanks for the info guys, I will look at this as soon as I get home.

Allright I checked in game map, there's just the old 94 mb update which I installed 14th november when I got the game, nothing other than that. So that's weird, how come I don't get the patch.

Also, this whole dragon flying backwards thing, I am experiencing that, but from what I've read here on the forums that came with the latest patch... or am I wrong?
