Am I seriously the only one with this horse problem?

I've read a bunch of threads about people's problems with horses in Skyrim like controls or freezes or whatever but nobody has seemed to ever have my problem. Basically my horse sort of trips when going downhill just a little bit, and it just flies in the air before hitting the ground and dying. It's EXTREMELY annoying. I have to go down hills VERY carefully and slowly and try to find a little less steep areas just so my horse doesn't do a long jump. Sometimes even when I'm walking along the flat smooth road, my horse will seemingly trip on a rock and do the long jump again, dying when it hits the ground. It will trip on the tiniest downhill sections as well.

It makes walking a lot faster than horseback because every time my horse dies from falls, I have to reload my save and try again over and over. I don't think it has anything to do with my performance and I'm assuming it's some sort of physics bug but again, it's extremely annoying.

If anyone has had this before(I doubt it, never hear of people having this problem) or know how to fix it, please help. Although more minor, I also have a problem where my horse's legs will sink into the ground sometimes so help with that is appreciated as well.

I f this is what I think it is, meaning going downhill (steep) and running over, say a rock and because of the collision box the horse starts "flying", then yeah, I think that's how the fine steeds and mares of Skyrim work!
Yeah, even going on flat ground, if you run over rocks they will do funny things.

As a side note, the fact that you have to go quite slow with a horse on a steep descent is actually quite realistic, so you could work that into the game! You would that in real life too. Trust me, it's not a good idea to charge a horse down a steep descent! Some of them won't even want to, and will slow the pace themselves.

Hmm I haven't tried walking my horse down, since I almost always have caps lock on for running. I'll try that and see if there's an improvement, thanks :P

Well, they"l still walk a bit weird over the rocks (I think that's how collision boxes, animation and physics work on Skyrim horses) but at least they won't start flying.
