Shadowmere & Marked for Death

Post » Mon Aug 27, 2012 4:53 pm

Hey.

So recently, I used Marked for Death on a dragon, but Shadowmere was close by and took a hit from it as well.

I thought nothing of it at the time, as we easily killed the dragon. It was only until I got off her to fight a Frost Troll that I saw her go down in a single hit. That shouldn't be happening, right? She usually tanks Ancient Dragons quite happily.

I decided to load my previous save (note, I saved after using Marked for Death on her, and don't have autosaves on) and decided to take a swing at her myself to see if it was still there. It was.

Is there any way to fix this bug, or am I out of luck?

I'm on PS3, if that helps.

Thanks.

UESP mentions that the Wabbajack may correct this issue on followers - worth a try.

NP.

I've been lucky with crap like this because I've come close to doing a lot of things that would piss me off enough to break my game disk.

Shadowmere does respawn right?
Yes, he does according to UESP
"However, 15-20 days later, Shadowmere will respawn at the location of death."
also if you're on PC and ever kill Shadowmere, you can respawn him using player.placeatme 0009ccd7 in the console.

Oh, well that's good news.

I'll try it later when I have the patience to play again.

Unfortunately, I'm on PS3, or I would use that handy console command.
