Its been awhile since I've played, and I'm looking to get Shadowmere.

Question: Does already owning a horse prohibit you from getting Shadowmere through the Dark Brotherhood quests - or will getting Shadowmere replace any existing horse you already have?

You still get Shadowmere even if you already have another. The horse you currently have will stay in the spot when you ride Shadowmere. I like to keep all my horses at the stables. A bit tricky, but useful.

Yup, I have Shadowmere on a couple other characters. Just wasn't sure if already having a horse would complicate things.
