Shame on you Bethesda

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 5:13 am

What is astonishing is the silence of Bethesda.

They see clearly that all PC gamers are in a black [censored] but not the slightest gesture to reassure or provide a big upgrade from the PC version.

If there is not very fast response to these problems and the total absence of obtimisation I sincerely believe that I will put Bethesda on my black list. Rage had already disappointed many but this is Skyrim will just push me to boycott the studio.

In fact the PC version is theft pure and simple. (Even the mouse is not optimized)

Shame on you Bethesda. :flame:

Ps :Sorry if my English is not fantastic

Why should they care? They have your money, and the majority of the market is satisfied.

Stop it, this is the umpteenth topic of it's kind for the day and it's taking up space that could be used to discuss something more important than the same old rant.

Bethesda stated the game uses DX11 but with no specific features. They are aiming for the visual quility to remain largly the same across all platforms.
The qeastion is though.... uh, why? Why not use tessellation, advanced deph of field and so on... The game doesn't even have an option for ambient occlusion, I have to force it through nvidia inspector, it makes visually, a huge diffrence.

Sadly, the game does smell of lazy port.

What the hell are you on about? I have been playing for more then 20 hours now, with mouse and keyboard, and I haven't had a single issue what so ever.. I mean nothing! The perk tree is a bit wunky to get around in but thats it.

You people sure you have been into the settings and DISABLED the controller? On its on by default.

They don't care about gamers, they care about money. Howard is on a cruise ship right now splashing his cash around like a fat baron and you are paying for him.

Rise up, comrade. You're not alone.

This is my first game on PC, and it runs amazingly well. I have no idea what you're talking about. This game rocks! BTW, this is very childish post.

i got skyrim for the pc and im supremely satisfied. the UI is great for me, you can access it all keyboard. I hate doing things with the mouse other than aim the character and rotate the camera. Only issue for me the FOV, but maybe i can alter that soon, when i decide whether or not achievements are worth it.

I mean in general i think the game looks great. I wouldnt expect much more from something that was designed with consoles in mind. its not witcher 2, but hey what can you do. it offers other things.

I just can't believe this. My game runs fine in my almost 2 year rig, and I really don't see any other RPG's in the current market hat can compare to this in terms of vastness, freedom of choice, and just plain fun. If people would stop obsessing over technical specs, and see the big picture they would see this is an amazing game. I understand if you are ranting about a slow performance or a completely glitched and unplayable game, but this game is none of that.

What is astonishing is the silence of Bethesda.

I'm guessing by the fact that you said "sorry if my english isn't good" that you're not american and you probably don't know that today is a national holiday and Bethesda employees are probably with their families

If you have issues please post them in the H&S section of the forum and be sure to make it detailed and post a DX Diag

But making a thread just to rant is not helpful.
I assure you the devs are keeping an eye on the forum and using the information they find to work on identifying problems and patch them. When they know something, they will let us know.

Please don't make threads just to rant however because it not only isn't helpful to you or anyone else, it is disruptive.
