Maximus: A former BoS outcast member untill he split with the them, eventually heading west. He wound up in Nevada after a group of ceasar's legion nearly beat him to death for his power armour. stumbling into Primm he was healed by a local doctor. He took the courier job to pay his debt to Primm, to bad it didn't go so well. After hunting down benny he joined the local brotherhood helping them get on their feet. After that he found a former group of enclave he procured their power armour and decided that they would kill ceasar's legion. Now looking for revenge he joins a former first recon member and sets out to hunt down ceasar for his outcast armour. Untill he finds out it was the Enclave that ambushed him not the Legion. He leads the fight for an independent Vegas.

Once he got shot in the head he had one mission, to get even.
During his travels he will slowly turn into a monster.
Maybe some part of his brain was lost.
Maybe he is just freakishly obsessive about Benny or making it big.
Or maybe he was a ticking time-bomb which Benny set off.
Who knows.
