SHaring Your Xbox Test Invite : Crysis

Recently, I've read many posts by community members who claim to not owning an Xbox 360, but of having received an invitation to "test" Crysis 2 on the Xbox 360 console. This is was a critical logistical failure on part of Crytek and EA studios, who should have tracked such data before sending invitations.

100% PC hardcoe gamer and got an Xbox invite, dissapointing but I'll likely use it at my friend's house. Seems logical

WIsh i had a sharing friend. Although i have a gaming pc, and love the first game on it. I am excited to try my hand on the xbox

AGREED. massive failure, who knows how much microsoft put up to have the beta be exlusice to the crapbox !

its just a stress test.... the actual beta will be on the pc later with more features and stuff.

for this early "test beta" its to late. You would have already gotten an invite. However its not the true beta according to Cry-Lee. So you still have a chance. Juxtapose to that, is that the first few people to sign up are apparently supposed to receive beta keys, but im sure there will be other ways.

The mail sent out asked users with Xbox 360 access to sign up to help us test. It was not an invite but rather a means to gauge interest and establish how many people would be able to help us.

A second round of emails will go out to a few users that have stated they own an Xbox 360 and an Xbox Live Gold account (AKA the people that clicked "sign up")

btw I'm from Germany and I could give you my Opinions about the beta in german.Maybe thats an advantage for the german developers of crytek..

or they're more comfortable with a console as platform for tests like this because you can't tamper too much with the system. on pc someone could find ways to manipulate the game flow to his advantage or simply to **** things up - in a matter of hours. you can't alter .cfg-files (or do something more sophisticated) on a 360 you know.

I'll re-iterate what i said earlier in the thread, NO-ONE has received an invite. A number of people received a mail asking of they owned an Xbox 360 and would be interested in taking part.

The mail clearly mentions to sign up if you are eligible to test and would like to help. If you do not have an xbox you should not click the link.

This is initially to gauge response, like i said, no-one has been invited to the test at this time.

Listen to the last quote, its from Cry-Tom, and Tom, i believe those people are just spamming thinking they increase their chance for a beta key that doesn't exist.. Because it's a TEST!
