Sharpshooter ENB low fps

Post » Mon Jul 23, 2012 10:46 pm

So I've downloaded this mod before i re-installed skyrim but the last time i did it, i did it through NMM and I got the vibrant colors and stuff but didnt get the DoF, this time I installed this mod manually with no other mods on my game and I'm getting really low FPS. I also get a message at the upper left corner of my screen when i start the game up something about a ENB mod and it gives a web site do i need to download that to make the game run smoothly? Also it changed my graphics adapter to ENB under my launcher options.

I'm not at home, so I can't look, but here's some general info:

Getting the ENB message is good. That means that ENB is working. You can also use SHIFT-F12 to turn it off and on, to compare the vanilla look to the ENB look.
Recent ENB configs are usually set to "forcefakevideocard=false". You can edit enbseries.ini in your Skyrim parent directory with any text editor. Rerun the skyrim launcher to redetect settings after.
SSAO and DoF are the two big performance hits from ENB. SSAO especially. You can disable it, or reduce the settings to get better performance (again, in enbseries.ini).

Try:
EnableAmbientOcclusion=false
