if i put enough points into my shield perks, eventually , will it matter what armour i wear? cause surely the shield will take the brunt of the damage, cause i want to roleplay in the iron helm, studded armour, roleplay the dragonborn in the trailer.

type armor doesnt really matter. just get the relative armor skill up and improve it with armor and then ur fine
even my assassin with clothes on is match for most types for dungeon dwellers
atleast dragons are scary then

get the relative armour skill up and improve with armor? you mean improve with smithing? so in wearing iron helm/gloves/boots and studded armour, it isn't going to ruin the game in the sense i'm gona be a 1 shot kill target?
