How is shield charge, for those who have tried it?

The perk that allows you to knock back enemies by charging into them with a raised shield. Sounds neat

I've been perking up my block skill, and although I'm only level 19 now, I can say that they're really fun! The shield isn't gonna kill your enemy for you or anything, but it's great for stunning and knocking them off their feet. Especially pesky dual wielding dagger thieves... lol

I was worried about stamina use when using a shield
