Shiny, clinky GOLD

Post » Mon Oct 29, 2012 1:59 pm

Don't know about you but I developed a thing for coins. I can't help it, I just HAVE to pick them up, that attractive chest in the next room could contain millions but I just have to pick all those coins on the table first. People use to leave offerings at the shrines and I collect them all. And what Lucan is doing with those few septims left on the counter anyway? Mine, all mine! There's a dungeon where this coins row on the floor leads right into a trap, do you think I left them there? Nope! I died like ten times but I HAD to take them all. And don't make me even start to talk about jewels. Am I the only one greedy enough to do this?

I also do this, every time I enter the Riverwood trader I pick up all his free potions, cheese, sword and 4 septims then sell it all back to him. Or in dungeons I just must pick up every coin and go through every burial urn.

I have to force myself to stop picking up the bloody things. I have 120k gold, why do I need to pick up a few coins? Because I'm obsessive, that's why! Reminds me of someone I knew who picked up every penny she saw hoping for luck.

I've heard some folk say that if you shoot out Gold with Telekinesis, it goes at rather impressive speeds. Granted, you have to do it with gold that is found lying out, as you can't drop it manually.

I take everyone's Septims. Pickpocketed everyone's Septims. I even took money from the Honorhall Orphanage. Looks like the Orphans won't be getting fed for a few days...

I'll do anything for Gold coins, be it selling wheat to a farmer or killing a Draugr Death Overlord just to get my hands on the three septims he has stashed on his person.

I used to pick up coins all the time, now it depends on which character I'm with. Some of them are too lazy to pick up 4 coins on the dresser, when it's possible 50 or more could be in the chest nearby. Others are so greedy, they snatch up every shiny thing they can!

That ain't to evil though. At least in their culture. Simply a way of life.
