I'm a 20 year old, average gamer who has little experience in RPG games. Most of the games I play are either sports or first person shooters, but I have completed Fallout 3 too. Now I played Oblivion, but in my opinion it was horrible and quite boring. Being that Bethesda originally intended to release Oblivion for PC only, I realised after close to 5 years they must have put in alot of effort especially since they wouldn't have any excuse as they have already established the basics when they created Oblivion for console gaming.
Enough of that for now, yesterday I awoke at 11:00 AM and quickly rushed into my local Game, traded Battlefield 3 for Skyrim and paid the extra £5. Fast forward to me playing the game for close to 12 hours since I bought it and I can only say one thing: Thank you Bethesda, Thank you for this amazing game! As I said this is pretty much my debut for a 'Medieval' or 'Sword and Sandal' type of RPG gaming and man oh man Bethesda has created this amazing world that is so addictive. The game is huge and delivers such a deep story that will make any player wanting to play more.
Everything has been put a thought to and everything has been worked on. The soundtrack/music is the best I've heard in any game or even movie. This game does have its flaws though but they are quite minor and is only because this game is so huge and therefore imo Bethesda is excused for that.
I just woke up after 5 hours of sleep only, and I'm already back playing it again.
If I was to give it a rating, I'd give it 9.7/10 without any hesitation, the 9.7 can be changed to 10 once the bugs and glitches are fixed.
Again take a bow Bethesda!
