Short swords

I was wondering, if they have short swords in this game? :confused:

Also was wondering will they have appearance gear? Most other games i have played do. Would be really cool if they did. Don't really like the GW2 appearance they way they do it with the skins in all. But is a good way to make money for the game with the in store trans items

One short sword, dagger in the off-hand. Would be awesome to have short-swords.

Way off topic here but I would also love it if there was some benefit to only using a short sword or dagger in the main hand with the off hand empty. Not everyone wants to dual wield or have something in their offhand. Maybe if it provided more defensive or tactical options like disarm, balance, parry or riposte options.
