Should Aela be able to turn you into a werewolf more than on

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 12:39 pm

If serena is able to turn you into a vampire whenever you want, and Fallion is able to turn you back to normal whenever you want, isnt it feasible that Aela should let you drink her blood and turn into a werewolf whenever you want aswell? Providing you have completed the companions quests obviously...

I know it may be to prevent players being both a werewolf and vampire, but still... it would be cool, or better yet, let the WILD werewolves turn us into werewolves providing we don't have vampire blood, but are just normal, that way it would be more complicated than just switching whenever you want...

What do you guys think?

I think it more has to do with the fact that there is only a limited amount of Glenmoril witch heads.
They could just make them respawn (I'm 95% sure they don't), but I guess they didn't want that.

No... what? You can rid of Werewolf blood by letting Serana turn you into a vampire, you can get rid of Vampire blood by drinking Aela's blood...
Glemoril witch head's arent really needed unless you want to just become normal, not a vampire or werewolf, but even then if you wanted to be normal instead of a werewolf, you could turn into a vampire, and then do Fallions cure-quest, which is unlimited...

Completely forgot, not thinking fully right now. Not much sleep.
In that regard, you should be able to be a werewolf as much as you want.
Odd how I didn't think of that.

Yeah, I think being 'fickle' isn't a good enough reason to being limited to one change. Serana accepts my fickle personality, and Aela is my wife man.

Well Aela isn't immortal and nor does she care enough for you (unless you marry her but Bethesda didn't plan that, I suppose), if she loses too much blood she legit dies.

Serana being an immortal vampire who loves you and wants you to spend eternity with her of course will turn you whenever asked.

Aela is my wife man.

In that case i have the perfect idea!
When she is 'due', for the month... you persuade her to come to bed... and hey presto you have werewolf blood in you xD

If Aela isn't going to turn you into a werewolf more than once, the least they could do is allow the wild werewolves to turn you when you encounter them, the same way vampires can infect you.

Exactly. Except add lunar transformations and enhanced abilities. But why do I get the feeling everyone wants the game to be easier? Really, transform back and forth to werewolf and vampire whenever you want? Eh..

Have you seen how much blood she lets out when she cuts herself to put it in the fountain..bowl thing?

I doubt the human body can replenish that much in less than a couple months.

The amount of blood in that bowl was unnecessary, just a pricked finger would do xD

But you end up drinking a handful of it, that was just a massive waste of blood. Could have turned all of Whiterun into werewolves with that.

This. Still don't know why this wasn't implemented.

Yeah, here's what I would add to werewolves:

Forced monthly transformations that last the entire night (can be countered with Hircine's Ring)
The ability to sneak
Ability to do a sprinting leap attack
(Silver weapons do more damage)

As for what they get in human form:
A slight increase in unarmed damage
Either slightly decrease the amount of stamina used in sprinting/power attacks or a slight increase in stamina's regen rate
Additional damage when struck by silver (increased stagger chance)
A Night Eye ability that can be activated at will
Stamina, Health, and Magicka don't regenerate when wearing Silver equipment

I think with Hircine's Ring, transforming to AND FROM should be in total control as well as turning back with your equipment still on if you use the power of Hircine's Ring and not Beast Form. It just makes sense.

Not with equipment still on. Werewolves just don't magically keep their gear. You people have it lucky that you do not lose any of your items upon reverting to human form.

The disadvantage of being a werewolf is beastblood which prevents rested bonuses if they allowed you to be fickle you could cure yourself get rested then do a bunch of crafting then go back to being a werewolf.
Ability to do a sprinting leap attack
They have that already.

I mean I guess, but at the same time, exploding into a giant man-bat and turning back should logically turn me back naked too. Just going by Skyrim logic man.

They have that already.

Do you have to press both buttons to do it? I've tried to find ways to do it for ages, and all it does is either nothing, or make me stop sprinting and do a regular swipe attack.

And as for the whole Beastblood thing being the disadvantage, the same thing could be said about people attacking stage 4 vampires (before they nerfed that). You just had to feed, sell your gear/whatever else you wanted to do, and wait 3 days to go back to stage 4 and having increased powers again.
