Should I be bothered that I can't download 1.7 yet?

Post » Fri Aug 24, 2012 2:08 am

I am very excited about mounted combat, but 1.7 is not released yet in Europe for ps3.
I'd like to have the update, but I heard that there were quite alot of issues that disturbed the game on ps3.

So, should I be bothered that I can't play it yet? Or should I consider myself lucky? :ermm:

Also, my apologies if I posted this in the wrong section.
I was not very sure.

Depends, are you supposed to be able to buy Dawnguard?

Oh, by the way, I read somewhere that 1.7 would be named 1.6 for the PS3, so, if it's true, maybe you already have it?

Nope. 1.6 is being added in to 1.7 and they're being patched into the game together.

Patience is virtue

Well that is true, it has been a long while that I played Skyrim.
I will just start playing again without 1.7

1.06 failed the Sony europe testing. It is already three weeks sense it was announced and it's been two weeks sense the US recieved 1.06.
And I'm going to add the time that 1.06 EU puts their patches 3 1/2 months behind everyone else.

OP mounted combat is a badly implemented joke, and most of what 1.06 was suposed to fix it fails at.

Hmmm, guess I should wait then.
And if Mounted Combat really is a joke, then I won't really bother.

Just keep playing. Unless you are just dieing to have mounted combat, you won't notice much difference.

Eh, I don't even use horses that much.
Often just the human legs, and if my character is a werewolf, the beast legs.

your better off without the patch atm, its glitchy and buggy and has broken the game for some players so count yourself lucky, wait till they fix it .

Short answer: Yes, very.
Long answer: Yes, very, but there's almost nothing you can do about it. At this point, I'd be willing to bet that Bethesda has more people working on the next DLC than whatever B-Team they have trying to fix the PS3 Dawnguard.
