I like the powers of the dark elf that has 50% fire resist and ancestor's wrath with really good destruction but breton has 25% magic resist and dragonskin and you get to have conjure familiar spell at start. I can't choose cuz i like using swords and magic or at the same time but they both have good powers. so what do u guys think i should be? and i also like being a spellsword or battlemage

if you wanna combine fighting up close and using magic, I would definitely roll with the Dunmer

Both the Breton and Dunmer are well suited for the combat/magic hybrid, but the starting skills are not very important after a couple of levels. It comes down to racial ability:
The Dunmer have a very useful resistance to fire, but in my opinion a very useless racial power.
The Breton has a very good racial ability and a very good racial power which gives superb protection against mages.

I would go with the Breton.

Bretons are overpowered

I'd go with Bretons just for the magic resistance.
