Should I buy or wait? Opinions, pls

I almost bought the game yesterday, then, after my experience with Red Orch2's debacle, I thought I'd better check the forums. Glad I did. I am still anxious to play the game, but not shell out $60 for a hard stop after installation. Is there a common hardware issue that should give me pause?

Windows 7 Pro x64
eVGA GTX460 fermi 1GB
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
ASUS P8P67 DELUXE
ASUS Xonar DX 7.1
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB

its yet another really bad console port, with massive amounts of bugs and tech problems.
the second they started blaming drivers the gig was up.

will be a long time in the fixing,if they ever do fix it,sad to say if you are a pc gamer you need to start avoiding these devs who are concentrating on console games and trying to fiddle money from the pc gamer.

Why don't you ask in general discussion instead of plaguing the PC tech forums? Less congestion please.

don't get it, wait awhile, it will probably be a month or two until ID starts to get off their lazy asses and fix it, at which point bethesda will pull out to work on skyrim, the price for rage will more then likely drop quite low due to all the bugs for PC

Well , With your specs , I think you should .. I mean you may have to go through some configs and launch parameters , but u will prolly end up running it smooth specially cause u have got a Nvidia card , People with ATI cards ( like me ) are having slightly more problems and might re think buying it , while people with ATI cards and dual cores (Like me) DEFIANTLY should not buy it as its currently completely unplayable until the new drivers are out which fixes the 100% CPU bug .. But anywayz since you are neither of those .. Ye i suggest you do buy it.

Wait for mods IMO. I think there is a good chance that mod makers might make this game fun. The multiplayer is garbage atm. The singleplayer is okay when it works however it is really really short.
