Should i get Skyrim for PS3?

Post » Sat Jan 19, 2013 5:47 pm

Now, since today's announcment of all DLC's hitting PS3 in February, i started to wonder, should i buy a copy of Skyrim for my PS3?.. I already own it on my pc, but since my laptop cant handle anything other than most low graphics etc, (and some lag every now and then) .. i was concidering buying Skyrim for my PS3... however i am not too familiar with the common issues that are present/may occur on a PS3 system? all advice much appreciated (or perhaps should i instead invest for a better pc, or a new xbox console?) Thanx :D

Not worth it, really. The result will be about the same.

I think you should just get a better PC, one that will be able to play new games for the next few years. The new consoles are probably coming later on this year or next year, and it's not really worth it to fork over 300 bucks on something that will be obsolete so soon.

Things are starting to get cleaned up a little bit more on the PS3, although it's said that the PS3 has more bugs. My friend has the PS3 version and he doesn't have any problems. If you aren't getting a faster computer anytime soon, I would do it.

If your PC stutters and gets bad frame rates, more than occasionally, then yes, go with the PS3. Though saving the money and upgrading sounds like the better option.

well yeah, thats the issue.. with my current salary, getting myself a decent new desktop would be lil too expensive for me.. buying a xbox and skyrim included would be a lil cheaper, and buying skyrim for the ps3 would be the cheapest, concidering i already do have a ps3 console  was just wondering how much bugged the ps3 version is :D
