360 install bug probably won't apply to everyone, and it will be patched in a while. So the People's Champ's comment is irrelevant, really.

They are the same, so I would go based off of which is easier to navigate and how the controller/controls feel.

apparently 360 has texture loading issue and PS3 has performance problems, pick your poison

if you want to avoid all of those problems get the PC version

Xbox 360 cause it has smoother downloads and stuff, but why would you have 2 different consoles anyway? :eek:

I have had Xbox since its release. Then I wanted a Blu-ray player, so I bought the PS3. I play the Xbox more because of xbox live but I'm slowly transitioning to PS3 because the Xbox is just a piece of [censored] haha.

Your answer lies in this; Skyrim isn't an XBL game anyway

It is probably best to play an offline game like Skyrim on PS3 however for an online game like MW3 its better to use Xbox because its more smoother.

Agreed... but since i don't play that much of Multi-player games... i choosed to get PS3..

The only multiplayer game that i'm really playing at the moment is BF3..
But i still play games with multiplayer such as AC:Brotherhood etc..

But i agree with you, PS3 is better for single-player, and Xbox for multiplayer... Xbox live is way better than PSN.

I'm a PS3 player and i admit it... it's true.. Xbox live is better..

I am trying to decide between the two. I don't care about XBL and will not be paying a sub for it. Considering this, would ps3 be a better choice, or are they still relatively the same?

I've seen both in action, I say get whichever you're more comfortable with. I prefer the PS3 controller so I'm getting it, but the 360 version is phenomenal as well. Practically no difference when in motion.

Many people didn't experience the problem lol? The forum is a mess right now regarding the 360 and its texture problems. There's evidence all over the internet proving it has texture problems if installed. Everyone was worried about the PS3, but the 360 version ended up being the weak link lol!

It's true. There's 360 users freaking out everywhere. I've seen 10+ threads about it since last night. There's one that's 6 pages long and on the front of the forum now. Forum member Hulky is in there now and has tested it on the HDD and USB stick. Texture problems with both.

Both consoles have their issues..

If you want better graphics, pick PS3.
BUT
If you want DLC earlier, pick Xbox360.

But IMHO it's more like what controller you prefer.. because both have almost no diference at all.

I expect there will be an actually Day 1 patch, which should fix it. I doubt Bethesda would ignore that many complaints.

Now ive heard the graphics argument, but owning both. There is no difference. PS3 is brighter and Xbox is darker, and both redicously so. PS3 only looks better on exclusives...so its just controller. And how many days you want to wait for the hard drive install to work properly. (im betting update in a week)

Can't stand the 360PS3 interface. Looks too kiddy to me. Looks like the Wii interface.

Metro is coming to the 360 in a matter of days/weeks and is the beating UI heart of Windows 8. :obliviongate:

I saw some screenshots side by side that supports this, and the xbox looked darker but had better graphics and more detail (this was for another game, not Skyrim). However, I also heard that most of the time this is because reviewers don't tweak the settings on the ps3. Is there any truth to this? can you darken the settings for ps3, for example?

No man... Xbox looks brighter, there is more contrast on the colours... than PS3..

And what you mean that PS3 only looks better on exclusives ??

Right. I own both and i was just giving my observations. And i mean that the exclusives to PS3 are the only games that i go: "Damn this is good" and that they are better looking then xbox exclusives. Not that there are really any PS3 exclusives i liked lately... :teehee:
