I'm starting a new data about being in the empire, and doing things that I didn't do in my previous data (like not killing Cicero). Anyways mainly all be playing with light armor, one-handed weapons, and a side of destruction/restoration magic.

I think I'm pretty set on being an imperial, but part of me feels like that's not the whole Skyrim experience.

If you want your character to more of a "true" imperial then destroying the dark brotherhood would help make that so.

Otherwise if your siding with imperials but plan on doing dark brotherhood quests, maybe pic a Nord.

I RP my nord as an imperial but she got tangled up in the dark brotherhood business. She saw it through with great sorrow that she had to kill the emperor... something she still deeply regrets doing. And she killed Cicero.

I don't think race effects how true of an experience you can have. Even with the whole "Skyrim for the Nords" with the stormcloaks, you can side with them as a Khajitt. so no advantage with being a Nord.

Depends on how you want to play.

I'd say you should go Imperial.

Any race can have the true Skyrim experience.

Nord. Just feels right.
