Should I remove DG before I start new game?

Tempted to remove DG from my HDD when I start my new game. For a couple reasons I know of. Not sure if I should or not. At least remove it till my character is to a certain point. I would probably keep Hearthfire installed though.

1. Constant Vampire Attacks even before I get to Level 10
2. Had heard rumors that the DB Questline is broken or the Sancutary is bugged.
3. Marked for Death would be instantly bugged

I do still require a couple achievements from DG such as Werewolf perks and the Legendary Dragon but I should be able to do those after I reinstall it shouldn't I?

I started a new character with DG installed, and didn't get a vamp attack, raid or sighting until I hit level 35...and that was about when I first went to Fort DG.

If you don't go to the DG fort they won't attack. There were vampire world encounters in the vanilla game - and they remain - but if you don't start the first quest after meeting Isran, you won't have any attacks in towns. You will however, be constantly reminded by guards that they're reforming the Dawnguard...some old fort near Riften!

I played my Orc berserker to level 50 and didn't have a single attack on a town. There were vampire attacks on me out in the wilds, and they were wearing the new armour that comes with the DLC, but it was no more frequent than it was before I DL'ed Dawnguard. I even did the whole of the DG side quest "Lost to the Ages" and stumbled into a new DG location, and town attacks weren't triggered.

Since then my Bosmer and Breton characters have put 300+ hours into full playthrus of the main game and done each side of DG. No. of casualties - 2. No. of dead quest givers and vendors - 0.
