Okay haven't gotten Dragonborn yet. Been level grinding to get to level 81 so i can fight this guy. Now from what i understand he challenges you to a duel on his mountain. Okay he doesn't attack you. His last words are "Sovngarde at last" or something. Now i've heard he's a Redguard but any warrior who dies with courage in their heart goes to Sovngarde. But what if that's wrong and he gets sent back to the dream sleeve and one day comes back as a more powerful being? Maybe an evil one? He drops a Daedra heart so is he a Dremora? Did Dagon change him maybe? Is it just an alchemy ingredient he carried as a trophy?

I'm kinda stuck. What if one day he comes back and ends up destroying the world? What if he just stays in Sovngarde forever? Will Alduin come back and take his soul? Will Sovngarde remain in peace forever and he can have a warriors rest? What if he's just a good guy seeking a challenge and a good death like the Old Orc and i end up sending him to his damnation?

What do you think? Should the Ebony Warrior be sent to the Soul Cairn or not?

Its a game... weather you do or not won't make a difference to your save if Bethesda decides to bring him back or not. If they want him to come back they will make him come back.

I'm aware it's a game. I didn't say i think it would effect my save. These are moral questions for our characters. I was wondering if someone else thought about this.

I think that he would go to sovrenguard. Same thing with Irileth.

After Dawnguard, I learned the extra-special fate that awaits him, and also gained http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Soul_Tear, and also to desecrate his body in the process.

I didn't know we got a backstory of him. What is it?

From what I read, he's seen it all, and has become so powerful that all he sees left is Sovngarde, and wants to be sent on his way there by the Dragonborn themself. He can't do that if he's soul-trapped.

If hes that powerful then he'll probably fight ( and win) Durhneviir and you'll have a very nasty surprise now that dragon riding is in the game next time you summon Durhneviir...

You can ride durnehvir. I'm bringing one empty black soul gem with his name on it, enchanting a Daedric dagger with life steal (for the irony) and putting it in a chest-thing within hermaeus mora's realm. So if he ever gets out to seek vengence he will only encounter seekers (no pun intended).
