Sometimes in combat I press R2 to shout and nothing happens. Yes, it's activated, no it's not on cooldown etc etc. If I then go to the magic menu it tells me I can't change shouts while shouting. This has happened several times now. Works fine out of combat.

Also switching between weapons using the left and right d-pad buttons takes a long time. If I switch from a bow to dual daggers it takes 4 seconds until both daggers are ready. During a fight this feels like forever. Weapon switching needs to be tightened up.

I forgot to mention that sometimes if combat begins while I'm sneaking, pressing L3 to get out of sneak mode does nothing until I've clicked it a few times. Really anoying.

Happens to me all the time. If you use a shout while using your weapon, it causes the shout not to happen.

Me too, guys. I have the exact same issue as the OP and already noted it in my own thread.

Considering the whole game is about the dragonborn and shouting magic in dragon language, this is unacceptable.

I'm sorry to see it's not just me having that issue.

Same problem here. My shout has one worked one time during the game, and I accidentally hit R2.

Same for me as well as my buddy who plays on a PS3.

You can't use a Shout with a weapon?

Not only that but sometimes the shouts get's Unequiped.. I have to manually go in during a dragon battle to put dragonrend as my shout and that is the only one I ever have highlighted ( or equiped ).. I'm using a mage so I don't have any swords or melee weapons..
