Man, looking at that 1st Show Us thread was nostalgic. Can hardly believe that was 6 years ago... I haven't seen a lot of those names around here in a long time.

Uh.. to stay on topic, I've just been slowly trying to whittle down my list of https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hF80EMusocE0aDokiS8JV0pc-Bt-8bHV-p7d01YQ3Zs/edit?usp=sharing. Got 1 home done last night.

Hehe... I'm looking at some of the names and see a lot of people who haven't visited the MW community in a while that I have used mods from :3

Also, that's a nice list you got yourself there :P How many more interiors do you think you'll do before the next Alpha release? (All the interiors...?)

Yeah, looking at the old threads brings back a lot of nostalgia. Sad that a lot of people moved to Skyrim--only better in the graphics and sound department. I enjoyed putting the 200 hours or so I put into it and its expansions, but it probably won't ever pull me back like Morrowind does.

Lol yea but you got us newbies coming in recently (consequence of Modathon perhaps?) Yes I'm referring to myself as a newbie despite being here for two months now.

Not really anything new to show yet for my project but I'm almost done with Fargoth's Hiding Place quest, I got to add the option of intimidating/tricking/persuading/betraying Fargoth into giving you the location of his hiding spot and then modify his script so that you can loot the stump (should be as simple as If JournalIndex = x then bla bla bla Activate End if). Then I still have the murder quest (make it so that the girlfriend in the lighthouse will give you the mission if you talk to her before finding the body) and doing choice dialogue overhaul for the imperial selling you the ring. Soooo what I'm saying is that while I was aiming for end of July to finish Seyda Neen and release the work as a BETA it'll be pushed back to early August.

Yeah, I'm inclined to get them all done so that I have something substantial to tout in the next update and not just a generic "progress update".

Man that armor looks pretty damn nice! They kind of remind me of power armor actually, with the helmet having tubes and just the idea of having armor made up of some of the most sturdiest creatures found in Morrowind.

That looks amazing, Crab! Your polish really improves the set (like the proper ground meshes and those eyepieces not being slapped on textures!).

Sweet! How long has that thing been "in the making" I wonder... has to be at least a few years x3

Also, got a nice little preview for An Addendum to Tamrielic Lore for you guys in the form of one of the brand-new books that you'll be able to find. I'm not sure if I'll do it, but I may release them separately as well, as I have a handful ready to go.

Spoiler

Faeries, Fae, and Limericks All the Way!

A Book of Limericks By Nomard Drak

[It appears to be a book rife with political commentary, deep thought, and of high interest, but the only thing really worth reading are the limericks!]

To What is a Merry Fairy?

There once was a small fairy

Who believed life was but trouble-free

Until out in the sun

Someone spoiled her fun

So instead she became quite pouty

Yeiad or Neiad, it Matters Not!

I once met a smiling neiad

Who grew jealous of a neighboring dryad

So she poisoned their roots

'Till she heard dryad toots

Who then blamed me, and said it was my bad!

A Sprite is Alright

A sprite is alright

Lest you give it a fright

Because if you do

Then a big shame on you

And sleep with one eye open tonight

Where Are the Fair Fae?

None are quite as fair as the fae

Or to them it's the truth so they say

But is it so?

Alas I don't know,

I have yet to see one to this day!

Thanks :3 They've all been a lot of fun to write (I had to stop myself from writing too many, but limericks are fun x3 ). Depending on what the reception is, I may make another "volume" of these, as there are many magical creatures which could be... ahem, "coincidentally compared" to some of the going ons of lore. There's about a half-dozen other books I have written already, and all are originals (some take references from real-life books, but most are 100% new). I also need lore ones, though :/

I wasn't big fan of original silt strider set and while I quite like this version it still have the same main problem - some parts look like they were made of big chunks of some kind of miniature striders instead of smaller elements of fragments normal-sized strider's shell. This is obviously an effect of how armour models were made and there is not much to be done about it. But there is one thing - removing the front legs from the helm, they really highlight the problem, doesn't seem to be practical and personally I think that they just look bad here.

You mean you haven't heard of the miniature, surefooted, nocturnal https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42876609/ministriders.png from the Azura's Coast and Sheogorad regions of Vvardenfell?

The existence of such nightmarish creatures is why I never go in these uncivilised areas at night.

So, while I'm not quite ready for a WIP thread yet, I've got the readme mostly completed (Note, the link is to a valid folder, but it's empty!)

I still have to finish the Demo .esp before that (which will have a "similar" quest to the first one in the main questline).

Here's the readme (feel free to tell me what you think, what you'd expect, what you don't think sounds good, etc.). It's technically a "rough draft" and is slightly unfinished, but I've been pushing through it and a few other docs for An Addendum.

Anyway, here you go:

Spoiler

;|===============================|

;|:An Addendum to Tamrielic Lore:|

;|===============================|

;

;Author: PikachunoTM

;Version: Alpha 01.0.0

;Download Link: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/wqixixeitywa9/An_Addendum_to_Tamrielic_Lore Nexus

;

;

;||Description||

;

;Be ready for a long load of adventure, with new weapons, armors, books, ruins, creatures, NPCs, and several expansive storylines which inter-twine and interact in a rather complex manner! Uncover the secrets of new and old locations alike: can you claim powerful artifacts and stop the dark hordes from corrupting them, or will you take part in their corruption... or will you choose your own path? Be warned that all choices have consequences, and only the careful and cunning will get the best results!

;

;

;||Introduction||

;

;An Addendum to Tamrielic Lore is a quest, content, and expansion mod that seeks to bring many artifacts from Oblivion and Skyrim to Morrowind in an exciting, intelligent, and relatively lore-friendly way. This expansion is intended to be playable by any and all levelled players, but some content isn't available until after certain requirements,and some quests are geared toward higher-level players (with a few boss-characters reminiscent of Almalexia, Vivec, and Karstag!).

;

;The powerful artifacts are all listed in the spoilers section, as well as the best possible choices for each in the walkthrough. Note that some responses may be available *ONLY* after meeting certain pre-requisites, and/or by making a previous choice(s), so do not be alarmed if you don't see all of them.

;

;

;||Story Introduction/How to Start||

;

;Travel to the remote fishing village of Gnaar Mok, where you will find a decently dressed man named Narthil Myrvin. He will tell you that he is part of a band of adventurers called the Whitehollow Seraphim, and he is in Gnaar Mok because his crew's ship was boarded while they were tracking the supposed appearance of the Dawnbreaker, a legendary artifact of the Daedric Prince Meridia. Return back to him after a few days and he'll recognize you. If you were amiable to him, he'll invite you along. You can threaten him, bribe him, or prove to him that you are worthy if you were not, but note that failing to threaten or bribe him, or boasting about deeds that aren't true and expecting to get away with it may result in him becoming less trusting, or even hostile, if you fail. Killing him or doing something terrible to him will result in you being unable to start any of the quests in this expansion at all... or does it?

;

;If you do make his path of travel impossible, or are seeking for an alternative, there are whispers of a shadowy organization known only as the Mortititions in the darkest recesses of Tamriel, who have pushed certain events forward, and prevented others from happening -- but for what or why, it is up to you to discover!

;

;An Addendum is an agglomeration story of life, love, corruption, loss, and the perils of consequence. There are many morally-grey moments, and only those willing to make sacrifices will find great reward... but will the costs be too much, or will you find your own way through?

;

;With five main questlines (and a multitude of side quests) suitable for five different playstyles (Combat, Stealth, Magic, and two mixed), there are many choices that can be made, and many trials to be faced. Will you help save Tamriel, or will you travel the lands and bring about destruction?

;

;An optional AddOn is available which adds tons of new quests, items, encounters, and more to Akavir! Will the Nerevarine stop a massive invasion from the Tsaesci, or will Akavir finally prove successful? Meet the Sload; powerful and dangerous foes who seek to bring the power of life and death under their control, and will stop at little to do so! This addon is much more linear in scope than An Addendum, but is just as epic!

;

;

;||Requirements||

;

;Because of the expanse of the project, it is vital to ensure that you have all of the pre-requesites. There is no excuse for not having them, and I will not make a version without them.

;

;They are:

;-Morrowind patched to the latest version.

;-Tribunal patched to the latest version.

;-Bloodmoon patched to the latest version.

;

;That is ALL. If you don't have a copy of any, you can pick them up at a Steam Sale, or perhaps at GoG or in the Elder Scrolls Anthology. The game is over 14 years old at the time of writing this, so please don't play if you don't want Bloodmoon and/or Tribunal. Many resources were pulled from Tribunal and Blodmoon, so otherwise you will run into CTDs/missing meshes and textures!

;

;||Compatibility||

;

;An Addendum was built to maximize compatibility with as many mods as possible. This means that everything added was 100% new except for a few very minor tweaks to Vvardenfell that include:

;[*] A note (and dagger) on Caius Causades' door that appears early on in one of the questlines.

;[*] A few new NPCs that are placed on Vvardenfell to allow the player to proceed in the various questlines.

;

;Other than the cases mentioned, there are ZERO edits to vanilla Morrowind. I tried to keep the changes to vanilla at an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM to avoid conflicts, and therefore the only conflicts that are most likely to happen are one of the few NPCs spawning where they "shouldn't" be. If this is the case, feel 100% free to make a compatibility patch without permissions from me. You may need to recieve permissions from the other author, however, and should therefore contact them, following their permission guidelines.

;

;Please, however, do not distribute the .esm or edits, or any of the contents in the .BSA, without permissions from the original authors. I have included a folder specifically for credits. Feel free to make "Unofficial Patches," though, but note that, if I believe that there is a legitimate fix to an issue that needs to be done, I will most likely include it in the next update (if I did not previously know of the issue, however, I will credit you for the discovery).

;

;

;||Permissions||

;

;You are free to use any of the mesh assets in the "Meshes\Stav" and "Meshes\ART" folder, as long as credit is given to those who you use meshes from. You are not allowed to use any textures OTHER THAN those that have the "ATL_" tag at the start of its name. Those are textures made 100% by me, and do not require permission. Everything else is made by, edited from, or otherwise has roots in another's work, and you must follow the permissions for them, which can be seen in the "ATL_TextureCredits.txt" file. All icons can be used freely, however, as they are all made by me!

;

;Bethesda is allowed to take any of the non-texture/mesh/other resource material not created using their original work that they please, including (but not limited too) Names, Books, Dungeons, NPCs, Dialogue, Story Themes, Factions, NPCs, Items, Scripts, etc. Why they'd ever desire to take something of mine and use it is beyond me, but I would love to see one of my little stories end up in another Elder Scrolls game some day... not that it ever will, but a guy can dream!

;

;||Credits||

;

;Bethesda for Morrowind and the Elder Scrolls series.

;Blender, NifSkope, and the Niftools teams. Without them I never would be able to model!

;

;And of course all of those whose resources were used! A full list can be located in the "Docs\An Addendum to Tamrielic Lore\Credits" folder of your "Morrowind\Data Files" directory and in the "MeshesATL\Credits", "Textures\ATL\Credits", and "Sound\ATL\Credits".

;

;

Hey all, it's been a good few months since I did any modding of the game. I decided that I'm gonna take a hiatus from graphical mods until either the MGEXE PBR prototype exits it's prototype stage, OpenMw implements PBR, or I get a new computer setup that can run the PBR prototype smoothly.

That said, I've still got a number of projects in the works that I'll be resuming. :) Namely, my New Music for Morrowind mod is mostly ready for a beta release, since the dungeon music portion of it is functioning. I've still got to implement the regional music and atmospheric palettes, so I'll likely be working on that next. Secondly, I've still got my GUI overhaul in the works as well as http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1506606-idea-quick-gen-a-spin-on-the-chargen-sequence/, which I'd like to finish before the next playthrough I do (whenever that'll be).

Anyways, keep a look out for my stuff in the near future. Happy to be back.

Yes, the Power Armor... I was slightly upset with GameAboutWastland 4... But then I remembered about Ashland.

Thanks! Strider set was always on top of my Fan-made armor list.

It was ready more than 6 month ago, but i don't have time to release it properly.

Anyway, mod http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44474/?. Have fun!
