You want to know why i don't play male at Skyrim but i DO at Fallout? Because I find them ugly and can't relate to that, so rather make a kick ass female then a wimp male... okay?

Uh huh, kinda strange. I usually take very little time or effort to tweak a character because I only play FPS and I don't look at myself.

I took some time to make that Dunmer just to Role Play a bit better, I'm a stone cold shooter guy in "real" life. I'm not sure where you would find wimp in the beast but I'm willing to be enlightened.

I made a comment on your char which means i thought he looked bad ass... why? because of the white hair... all my chars have that, even Fallout... and this is a RPG (look it up?) and you can "roleplay" if you got the brains for it which isn't that hard because everybody does it

Well I guess I got that part of Role Playing right. I thought a Dunmer should look pretty scary and tried for that. The hair is just my actual hair color, I am old. I got rid of the beard a while ago but maybe I should grow it back. Oops ... wrong role.

As always it's your game you get to do what you want. This is a forum for commentary and that's what I've been doing.

Who knows this might inspire me to cross gender, but I doubt it.

Okay, not going to clean-up, on review, it seemed fine.

I don't mind civil discussion, and I don't always expect people to be purely complimentary. Bbut please be mindful of perhaps sounding a bit judgmental. It's not "playing with dolls", Pengun - that was kind of a gratuitous shot for no reason. I understand that sometimes people are curious about why people play these games a certain way, or what mods they choose, or even the various screen-shotting sort of "sub-culture" if you will. At the end of the day, it's a hobby for people - and quite a fun one.

I'm sorry. I thought it was fairly plain that I was playing with dolls too. I think it's a fair description for making up and dressing up an avatar, it is quite similar. I guess it has a childish connotation but we are playing games here.

I just compared them side-by-side and they are very much alike--I always use the same nose but the angle of blond, blue-eyed (b&be) screenie makes it difficult to see if they share the same eyes. I also noticed I made her before learning the sliders for the jaw--you don't want your character with "hog-jowls" If I had made b&be's today I would have brought her eyes just a bit lower.

I agree those other texture files I used for the less makeup really got carried away with big lips--full lips are attractive but bulbous lips are not. :yuck:

No horse yet. Just hoofed it up there on foot to enjoy the view nice and slow.

After seeing how good things were looking maxed out at 1024x and realising for alot of folks even my native resolution of 1366x is pretty low i tempted the fates and tried everything maxed out at 1366x resolution. To my surprise everything is running great and looking fantastic on my three year old 2.4 quadcore intel with 2gigs of memory and a Radeon 5770. Here is my character once more at the new settings-

No you wasn't... commentary even if negative is fine with me, but you were whining about males who play females.

Like i was saying in a not quoted by you /snip post; You "Why do males role female, that's just weird" The next guy "How can you role/play/relate to beast race" Next "Why elves if you can role/play human" Next "Why play games when you can go outside and act your ages like an advlt, grown ups don't do that" Next "Why live if you die tomorrow"

The same arguments can be used against mages or assassins. My approach to computer games, especially RPGs, is to do everything I can not do in real live. If that means I'm a female elf on a killing spree, so be it. Besides, I prefer to play in 3rd person and if I'm going to stare on the same ass for 200+ hours, it should be a nice one.

Wait. I shouldn't say that in a thread where I posted pictures of my child character. But the Nightingale armor has a cape, so that should prove me good.

Also, you might want to add "CSB -- clear screen blood" to the useful console commands in the initial post.

My dunmer refugee has been thriving as of late; her only set goals were to survive and connive her way to the top.

A crucial step in her plot was getting married.

So here's my character that I've wanted to show off for a while now.
He's named Valkrig and is a ranger type character, in that he uses two handed swords and bows.
I really like the look of the guard armor, the chain mail especially.
