Serana tries so hard. She re-aminated a mud crab to help me fight a dragon. So sweet of her. But perhaps next time Serana you could bring back that giant I had just killed? But thanks anyway.

His computer meets the requirements but it just refuses to cooperate, he's been having these issues from day one. First he wasn't able to get anywhere close to Rifton without it CTD, he removed all his mods and it corrected itself. It seemed to be working fine after the removal of all mods and it worked fine once he added mods back, but then he had a shutter issue which after several attempts was fixed by messing around with the ini files for shadowing. It was working fine until he downloaded Dawnguard, my brother just seems to be one of the unlucky ones that ended up with an extra buggy game and try as we might we just cannot figure out whats causing all the trouble. He is having fan troubles though, perhaps his PC is over heating and is being cranky.

On a different note I think I may try and get a few shots of my new castle in the forgotten vale (Mod) in this thread tonight

No but by judging it by hand it feels rather hot after an hour or so ( as hot as a cup of coffee ) so as best as we can figure is that the computer over heats which leads to the CTD because the PC is having a hard time running. But as I said all the bugs and glitches have caused him more headache then the game is worth ( in his opinion ) and he ended up giving up on the game ( not Beth itself just the game ) and moving onto New Vegas, which is the weird part, the PC runs New Vegas for 3-4 hours without any trouble but it only takes all of 40minutes - 1 hour before Skyrim starts to act up. He is in the process of saving for a new PC but it's slow going ( bills and all ) so there's still hope that he will return to the land of Skyrim but not in the near future.

Oy, and I thought I had it bad. My condolences, or perhaps you let her live after that?


But yes, she tries. I was happy when I first realized she could and she reanimated one of the vampires that attacked us. Unfortunately I was in the heat of battle, blood covering my vision.. and I slayed her thrall...Oops.
Now that I think about it, perhaps that's why she only raises foxes and mud crabs now? I suppose if that's her line of thinking I can't blame her.

I did that alot... oh dang killed another one. She raised a Vale deer, one of the few thing's Derik didn't manage to kill.

There is your problem. His pc clearly isn't good enough to run the game with mods then. I had this problem with a different game before, on my old pc and it would just CTD, BSOD or just hang. Unless he has problem running the vanilla game as well.

The vanilla runs fine off and on, which once again it has to be the fan. But why would it run New Vegas fine with a bunch of mods but Skyrim wouldn't ? I'm not all that savy on PC's so I can only help him out so much, hopefully he's able to get a new PC and will return to Skyrim.

This was the second time I've fought them ( missed them on my first visit!)! Yeah, I really enjoyed it, seemed a little easier this time, must be getting the hang of it !
