I would rather have the hood Serana has but the shrouded cowl doesn't look to bad with the vamp armor.

Did they ever fix it so we can have the version with a mouth cover that works?

That problem only effects male characters i think.

I like wearing the apprentice hood with the grey vamp armor with vamp boots and dawnguard gauntlets. It kind of reminds me of the assassin's creed outfit.

I thought it worked with humans/elves and didn't work with beast races? I was hoping that my next character (a Dunmer) would be able to wear one.
