So please remove it's status as a Quest Item.
It's complete BS that I am stuck with 25 pounds of extra weight. Forever.

I have a similar problem. I have the case of drugs for the guys in Vault 3 stuck in my inventory. They were hostile when I went in, so I just killed 'em all. And now that (10wg) and a couple of books that I bought from that courier place near Gun Runners (2wg... but still, [censored] adds up) are stuck in my inventory. It's not a huge deal, but I think an add on that you could use to delete useless quest items from your inventory would be handy for this sort of thing. Just an idea :rolleyes:

Yeah, it's so simple to add you gotta wonder if no one at Obsidian or Beth ever played WoW. It'd be nice to abandon quests and drop quest items. At the very least be able to put quest items in your home. Being able to abandon quests isn't a huge deal, but I have had "Booted" in my log for a long time because I'm siding with CL so I can't exactly complete it.

If you have got the amor,it means you do the questline for Van Graff.Then just finish the quest,and you′ll be
able to remove/sell the amor.If you stole the extra set, you have two to sell.Worked for me (xbox 360).
When looking in your inventory it seems that you have only one set,but if you drop it,ther′s two.Pick them up again,and do what ever
you want with them.

So do I have to do the entire quest line? If so, then they need to make the one that you steal dropable/sellable. Especially since the game knows what items you stole.

I have Motor Runner's Helmet still stuck in my inventory, even though I finished the quest. Very annoying.
