Recently there is a $ before the mod configuration text.
Example:

Esc menu ->

Settings
.
.
$Mod Configuration
.
.
Exit

Why is there a Dollar sign?
Sometimes it comes before very Menu text..
What happening?

It means it has problems with something language related, possibly translation strings.

Judging by "$Mod Configuration" it seems to be something related to Sky UI MCM; if you are running that, you should post in their respective thread.
