After only moments into the game I went into the controls menu to re-bind my keys and I accidentally bound the 'Esc' Key to one of the actions.
Thinking little of it I re-bound the particular action to the key I wanted, saved my configuration and returned to the game.

After another 5mins or so of playing I decided I wanted to change some more key bindings, I went to hit the 'Esc' key to get into the in-game menu and
NOTHING HAPPENED... i kept pressing it, still nothing, I then released my accidental binding earlier must have caused this so I started pressing every key
on my keyboard only to get NO MENU!

By accidentally binding the 'Esc' key It has managed to completely lock me out of the in-game menu... And to make things worse I cannot reset to defaults because
the only way you can access the key bindings seems to be from the in-game menu! I also have to Alt-Tab and crash Skyrim to quit because I can't get to the menu!!

Is their a way around this!? Or have I discovered a MAJOR bug?! Because it's certainly hindering my experience.

Please fix this Bethesda...

Try deleting your Skyrim ini and letting it regenerate.

Just press J.

It will bring up the menu with the three tabs, the third one is SYSTEM. That's the one that usually comes up when you hit ESC.

You pretty much want to leave Tab and Esc alone in these games.

In past games folks who messed with those, in particular the Tab key, just had pain.
