Okay, well im a dm and ive been reading about bastard hall in pathfinder. Lo amd behold, my mind will not let me rest until I flesh it out and creat a story for the place. In my head the story im going with is gonna be a mash up with h.p. Lovecraft and basically taking ideas from silent hill 1 as insperation. Hell ive been listening to the full soundtrack from silent hill 1 as ive been brainstorming and of course been reading alot of h.p. Lovecraft as well.
Going with heavy occult theme, old gods cult, and basically gonna do it in stages.
I got the barebones outline of the main plot im gonna be running.
Hopefully bybthe time its done, there will be feelings of sadness, creepyness, fear, and hopelessness and intrique in the story but at the same time being fun and exciting and basically enough intrique to make them wanna eep going.
I got a few levels plannned out and basically almost done with the town/ghost bridge/entrance courtyard down pat. The other levels I have ideas for.
I am also gonna have the players native to ustalav and begin the game with them ridding in the black coach.

So long backstory done, I have 2 questions.
1. Does anyone no where I can get silent hill 1 the game on PC so I can freshen up on the atmosphere and plot devices of the game.
2. Has anyone done bastard hall or thought about doing it and wanna drop some ideas and suggestions?

Unfortunately, Silent Hill 1 never got a PC release.

2. Never heard of it and nope, though I do love SH1 and Lovecraft.

There are PC versions of Silent Hill 2 and 3 if you haven't played those games on any system yet. Like someone said, Silent Hill 1 was never released to the PC.
