I want to ride one. I didn't get to play Morrowind. Since the mmo is placed in time before Skyrim will there be silt striders there?

They're probably in the game, but to ride one is unlikely. Fast travel is handled through teleporting between shrines and I doubt they would allow players mounts as big as silt striders. Also I'm pretty sure that in the Quake Con gameplay Paul Sage said that horses were the only mounts.

I remember riding those things. Now that you have mentioned it, I am wondering about this too.

We didn't really ride them in Morrowind, they were like carriages in Skyrim - pay for transport, fade to black, appear in another city. They'll probably appear in ESO, but not as mounts.

I wonder if there will be other kinds of mounts, I'm not saying dragons but I do like variety ...

Silt Striders were static in Morrowind. I'd like to see them actually striding about as free creatures, whether we get to ride them or not.
