Simple FNVEdit Question..

Post » Wed Jan 12, 2011 12:58 am

How do I save progress made in FNVEdit? I feel like a newbie right now, but I can't figure it out at all. Thanks.

I THINK, but don't quote me its been a long time. I think you just close the utility and it saves automatically.

It prompts you to save on exit, and also every so often (every ten minutes maybe?) if you've got unsaved changes.

You can also just use the fairly universal CTRL+S keyboard shortcut to save whenever you want.

This exact question had me puzzled too. It seems like you should be able to click an option and find save in there... but you can't.

This - I think the saving is pretty robust in NVEdit, though the fact that the question is still out there means it is not obvious (which it isn't unless you know the keystrokes).

An updated manual for NVEdit comes out tomorrow night, I'll make sure to include mention of this in there.
