Sinding alive in Riverwood

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 10:23 am

Okay, so last night I was wandering around Whiterun hold and came across Riverwood. I went inside the General store to buy and sell stuff and when I came out an started to head east, I saw a [censored] werewolf walking in the street. I approached it and it was named Sinding, the same werewolf I had killed about 30 in-game days ago in the Ill Met by Moonlight quest. None of the townspeople seemed to pay attention to him, and when I talked to him, he just answered "Hmm?" and "Good afternoon" in a very humanly voice.

I have two pictures, but their quality is absolutely terrible. I'm playing on console.

And not so much time earlier I witnessed Skjor coming back from the dead and loitering around Jorrvaskr. Has anything like these happened to you?

yeah, sinding does that.

that's why I killed and skinned him, because than when I see him later on I know it isn't because he's breaking his promise from when he said he would go into exile, it's just him being a dead wandering [censored].

When I found him in the middle of a town without being attacked by guards I felt slighted.

On one game (where I helped him) I encountered him on the road. He was running ahead of me and unfortunately I mistook him for a troll and shot him dead. Oops.

The Skjor bug is common, I had it in my game too. That's the first time I heard about Sinding though, but I didn't kill him in hicrine's quest.

And damn those pics are HD!

Happened to me. Sinding politely greeted me once near Riverwood in his werewolf form. I rekilled him and he remained in a cool position. Trying to search for the screenshot. Anyway, this character shouldn't be respawning. Another stupid respawner that comes to mind is Movarth, a vampire near Morthal.

Movarth has also respawned in my game, on another character.

Yeah, after watching him walk around the town for almost 15 minutes I decided to smash his face with Wuuthrad. :D

He will rise again. Damn those abominations. They're not only these hideous creatures, but they have many lives too. I think Hircine is being lazy. (And not sure where vampires will go). Hmm... Is this respawning because they are a werewolf and a vampire, btw?

Movarth has also respawned in my game, on another character.

What do you mean, "on other character"? He's always been in his lair in my case at least.

I mean when I was playing as another character. I'm not sure if I'm using the right words to describe it, I'm not a native speaker.

I went back to his cave/area (I think it was because the area didn't show as "cleared" for some reason but that's a different issue) - anyway, long story short, he was alive again. I killed him again. However, his earlier corpse was still there. So there were two corposes of Sinding at that time. Odd. Guess Louis Letrush isn't the only one who discovered how to clone himself.
