A Singe Thread For Artists and Creative People?

Post » Mon Jun 17, 2013 11:03 am

I'd like to post some lyrics that ive made, but as far as I know, its against the rules to promote anything on these forums, so would like to ask; Is there a thread for people to post or link their work (songs/art/writing ect), and if not, can we have one?

Look for the BGSF Artistry Thread. I am on my mobile and that is a pain to search through pages of threads with.

Signatures man. Passively prostituting yourself feels a lot less pretentious in my opinion. Best of both worlds really. What worlds? I'm not sure, but at least one of them is filled with prosttutes, so getting the best of that world sounds pretty fantastic if you ask me. Imagine it, a whole world of prosttutes just waiting for you. That's the power of a signature.

Edit: I don't really think "pretentious" is the right word... I dunno. I dislike the whole advertising gambit, but that seems to be half the battle. Creating a laundry list of what's been added never sat right with me. Using phrases like "a rollercoaster story" always irks me, what if I'm overestimating the story I've created?

One of those days where I'm just out of it and randomly felt uncomfortable with that post. Guess I'll unedit (that exist?) it.

Yeah, that's probably the most terrifying feeling, unleashing your little one legged creation into the jungle of the internet to be devoured by the tribal monkey-warriors (also known as users) of the internet. Still, if you can ignore all the nonconstructive criticism (which, unless you're a robot, you probably can't) it's a great way to grow as an artist, song-writer, programmer, whatever. Especially as a whatever, because those guys have it rough. I'm probably just reiterating something I heard before, but those are my thoughts.

I'm being serious here (though half-jesting in the sense of thinking it'd be amazing): You need to start a religion.
