I have seen the picture of the skaal that were released by Beth, but is that the armor? or is there a skaal armor and robe.

There is and you do not have to kill the skaal to get it. At least that is what I understand.

i only know of the robes and their light armor if im not mistaken... idk if they have actual armor like heavy or something

Skaal warriors use the Carved Nordic armour, the rest of the Skaal have a unique set of robes, there's a dead Skaal somewhere on solstheim, but I can't for the life for me remember where it is.

You can find the robes in Highpoint Tower. Boots can be picked off a certain old Skaal who gets killed by some green tentacles.

It the wizards quest to find who is attacking him, on the way to "Pull The Heart Out" there is a skeleton on a ledge in the cave Skall robes, boots and hat but only the robes are visiable look around on top for the other they are close by...
