Skill bar fullempty once maxed out

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 1:43 pm

I've noticed that sometimes when I max out a skill the "skill bar" (that shows the progress of the skill) is sometimes full, but other times it's not.
I have several characters in which I've noticed this... One of them I maxed out ALL skills naturally and only 2 skills had empty bars while the others were full, another character I maxed out ALL skills with the Oghma Infinium glitch with all of the bars empty, and now I'm working on another character with the glitch, but some of them are full while others are empty and I'm trying to avoid it - either by making ALL the skills empty or full, but no matter what I do differently to try to make them all the same, one or two of them comes out messed up. Does anyone knows what causes this to happen with a skill?

How is it a glitch? You are never getting any of those skills to 101. I think if you are that bored that you are worrying about whether or not the skill bar reset or not when it reached 100 maybe it is time to go play something else. Perhaps it only resets if you went over 100 when the level up occurred. I for one am never going to bother working it out, some are full, some are not, it never worries me.

Some of us have OCD - lucky for you that you don't. Nonetheless, I figured it out myself, so thank you for nothing - this forum is here to HELP each other.

Oblivion was the same, read a skill book halfway between 99 and 100, get (a useless) half a bar over.

Aye, if you train or read a skill book for your last level the bar will remain 'empty'. Can easily be avoided if you don't train, and watch what you pick up. What's really silly looking is that level cap is 81.5. Players hit level cap before they have all their skills at 100.

Actually, what's silly is leveling all skills to 100 in the first place.

Huh?

What's silly is thinking your opinion somehow answers the OPs question. And considering the OP has maxxed out all of their skills twice I think they are well past the point of deciding to or not.
