skill leveling progression actually help?

Hey guys I need to know. Do you do more damage with a certain weapon the higher level you are with it. For example if you're level 60 with a bow you'll do more damage with it than if you're level 20 or is it just the perks that help
you and leveling only helps you reach the perks.

Also for conjuring weapons and creatures do the weapons and creatures automatically get stronger and you increase your conjuring or not?

I had this -same- thought. According to the UESP, weapons are not just flat damage. If you level up your skill with them, they do more damage rather than just existing for the perks.

leveling still helps. for magic i can say for sure that the higher your skill the less magicka spells will cost from that school.

but does your magic damage actually increase when you level it or is it just the perks?

Also do conjured items and creatures become stronger the higher level conjuring you are or not?

so I need to know if I use a crappy dagger which does 5 damage in the beginning but now I'm level 70 dagger use, will my dagger now do 40 damage and show as 40 damage in the inventory or not?

The weapon damage does not change with your character level, but with your skill. Say you play a Breton, so your bonus skills are all magic related. Thus you start with a 1-handed skill of 15. An iron mace might show for you a damage rating of 10. If you level your Breton mage to level 50 but never increase your 1-handed skill beyond 15, it still will show you that damage rating of 10. Now, increasing your 1-handed skill will change the damage of the weapon, even if your character level doesn't change.
