Nothing added in Dawnguard will be there in Dragonborn, if that's what you're asking.

i don't think anyone can say one way or another on here,we got them with Dawnguard,but they may give them to ps3 along with crafting dragonbone weapons in the pre-game patch,looking to put a band aid on the PR nightmare this has been,but if they don't,then if i was a ps3 guy i would certainly be expecting Dawnguard rather soon

For example - Dawnguard adds the Crossbow animations/mechanics.

Therefore, does Dragonborn require DG to use any crossbows you obtain in Dragonborn, since the animation was added in via DG.

Yeah, I thought it was, that's why I was asking. TBH they should add crossbows to Dragonborn and let PS3-users get them since this will probably be the only DLC for PS3.

They seem pretty independent to me. I wouldn't worry about not having Dawnguard and playing Dragonborn.

Bethesda has a history of making sure one DLC does not require anything from a previous DLC so I highly doubt that Dragonborn will require you to own Dawnguard

No, I didn't mean being required, I just wanted to know if stuff added in dawnguard will carry over to Dragonborn, and if so, will the PS3-users miss out on stuff because they don't have DG?
