I'm having problems with the skyrim script extender not being compatible with the latest update. I'm running skse_1_06_05 and it doesn't look like there's a later version available. Anyone know what's up with that?

Please be more specific about the problems you are having with SKSE.

1.06.5 is the latest version of SKSE updated to work with 1.8 and is fully functional with the 1.8 update.

The problem that most people seem to have with SKSE stems from them installing it incorrectly.

To install SKSE correctly you must extract the folder Data the two files "skse_1_8_151.dll" and "skse_steam_loader.dll" and the exe "skse_loader.exe" all to your main Skyrim folder where you can find the files "TESV.exe" and "SkyrimLauncher.exe".

Also make sure that you are launching skyrim using "skse_loader.exe".
